Our Story
From one summer to two decades.
In 2006, four friends saw a gap in care for Charleston's disability community—and decided to fill it. They started with 14 children in a summer camp. Twenty years later, Pattison's Academy serves more than 200 children and young adults each year.

For twenty years, Pattison's Academy has been a place of possibility for children with disabilities and the families who love them. This November, at the Rutledge Room, we're celebrating that journey with an evening as special as the milestone itself.
Join us for a cocktail reception and heavy passed hors d'oeuvres, music to keep the night alive, and a silent and live auction full of exciting finds. Along the way, we'll pause to share student and family stories—the heart of everything we do—and a mission moment that reminds us why this work matters.
Every ticket, every bid, every moment together helps fund our Charter School, Early Intervention, Therapy Services, and Therapeutic Summer Camp—carrying this mission into its next twenty years.
