What is Platinum Possibilities?
For twenty years, Pattison's Academy has been a place of possibility for children with disabilities and the families who love them. This November, at the Rutledge Room, we're celebrating that journey with an evening as special as the milestone itself.
Join us for a cocktail reception and heavy passed hors d'oeuvres, music to keep the night alive, and a silent and live auction full of exciting finds. Along the way, we'll pause to share student and family stories—the heart of everything we do—and a mission moment that reminds us why this work matters.
Every ticket, every bid, every moment together helps fund our Charter School, Early Intervention, Therapy Services, and Therapeutic Summer Camp—carrying this mission into its next twenty years.

What is Pattison’s Academy’s Impact?
We believe every child has the right—and the ability—to reach their full potential, no matter the obstacles they face. That belief drives our holistic model, weaving together education, therapy, and medical care so families don't have to navigate disability alone.
At our Charter School, one caregiver shared, “Pattison's Academy is a God send. I brag all the time that the staff and the teachers are exemplary and knowledgeable and you can trust that they will care for your child/ren as if they were their own. It takes special people to do what they do. I love the people at Pattison’s!”
Caregivers in our Summer Camp tell us, “[My camper] had an incredible time, and it allowed her to have a typical camp experience tailored to her skill level. Her para [professional] and teachers saw an obvious improvement in her skills they relate to camp.”
One family in Early Intervention said, “The baby who couldn’t, until he could💪🏼 It’s been so so so amazing to have the EI program and have our son make tremendous strides with his progress on his physical milestones. We are forever grateful 🙏”
During a Therapy Treatment, a caregiver shared, “I don’t know that we would take her anywhere else, I don’t know where we would be if this [outpatient therapy] was not available, because I don’t know that she would have that bond. This is not clinical; it’s therapy, and it is clinical, but it doesn’t feel clinical.”

As we celebrate 20 years of impact, your gift helps ensure that children with multiple disabilities and their families continue to have access to life-changing services for years to come.
While public funding supports a portion of our programming, it doesn't cover the full cost of providing the holistic, intensive services our students and families need to thrive. That's where this event—and you—come in.
Sponsorships make the evening itself possible, covering the cost of hosting Platinum Possibilities so that every dollar raised the night of, through auction items and donations, can go directly toward funding Pattison's Academy's programs, including:
Specialized education and classroom resources
Therapy services and adaptive equipment
Therapeutic Summer Camp experiences
Family support and resources throughout the year

In 2006, four friends saw a gap in care for Charleston's disability community—and decided to fill it. They started with 14 children in a summer camp. Twenty years later, Pattison's Academy serves more than 200 children and young adults each year through four interconnected programs: Early Intervention, Therapy Services, Summer Camp, and our Charter School.
