Data & Impact
At Pattison’s Academy, we are dedicated to being a data-driven organization, leveraging reliable data, evidence-based research, and collaborative methods to understand and showcase the impact of our work. Using Results-Based Accountability (RBA), we measure performance and outcomes across all programs, ensuring we can tell a comprehensive story about the difference we make in the lives of our participants and their families. This approach enables us to assess the effectiveness of our services, inform future improvements, and align every effort with our mission of unlocking potential and empowering families.
We actively involve participants and their families in the process, fostering transparency and trust while equipping them with knowledge about how we achieve results. By using data to drive decision-making, we refine our programs, amplify our impact, and create a pathway for growth and resilience. Our commitment to continuous improvement ensures that every step forward enhances the lives of those we serve and strengthens our community. We hope you enjoy exploring this page and learning more about the population we serve and our impact.
Summer Camp 2024 Impact
In Summer 2024, Pattison’s Academy piloted a tool for assessing camper participation in daily activities. During staff orientation, Summer Camp leadership provided staff members training on how to use the tool. The training defined “meaningful participation” for our campers across four domains: (1) alertness, (2) visual attention, (3) physical engagement, and (4) communicative participation. Across these four domains, there were a total of 13 different components of participation. Summer Camp staff members completed a total of 225 participation assessments across 22 campers.
Charter School SY24-25 Impact
Pattison’s Academy Charter School conducts a Caregiver Survey each Fall and Spring semester to gather valuable insights about the families we serve and their satisfaction with our services. This comprehensive survey includes questions designed to capture a broad range of information. Some of these questions align with those used in the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH), a survey funded and directed by the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB). This alignment allows us to compare Pattison’s data with regional data for greater context.
In the following graphs, the comparison data is labeled "HRSA IV CSHCN":
HRSA IV refers to Region 4 of the Health Resources and Services Administration, which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
CSHCN stands for "Children with Special Health Care Needs," referring to children and youth with or at risk for chronic conditions requiring specialized health and educational services.
This approach ensures our survey results are meaningful, actionable, and provide insights relative to broader regional trends.
“Pattison's has given me the opportunity to pursue work, volunteer opportunities, and time to complete tasks that would be difficult with my child in tow.”
“Pattison's Academy is a God send. I brag all the time that the staff and the teachers are exemplary and knowledgeable and you can trust that they will care for your child/ren as if they were their own. It takes special people to do what they do. I love the people at Pattison’s!”
